The negative answers, kept in one place
Exness answers that are a no, a nothing, or a warning
Three kinds of answer are hard to trust one at a time and easy to trust in a group: the thing that is kept somewhere nobody looks, the feature that was never built at all, and the request that is a flat no no matter who appears to be making it. Each of them sounds evasive on its own and obvious in a list, so they are listed.
Answers that are an address
It does exist — just never in the place people look first
The second batch is misfiled rather than missing. Each one gets hunted for inside a terminal, and each one is kept somewhere a terminal never shows.
The leverage setting
Not in the terminal. It belongs to each trading account’s own settings in the Personal Area on the official exness.com, and every account there carries its own value. What changing it does →
The server name a terminal keeps refusing
Not in the welcome email and not guessable from the account type. It is printed beside the account it belongs to, together with the account number, in the same list the account was created from.
The list of documents a check will accept
Not published in advance. It appears during verification itself, at the point the identity check asks for an upload, which is why no page here reproduces it.
The charge for holding a position overnight
Not in the spread. Swap is a separate fee for keeping a position past the end of the trading day, and swap-free versions of the accounts exist for qualifying instruments, with the qualifying list published officially.
Which platform an account was created for
Not something the terminal announces. It is written beside the account in the account list, and it is the detail that decides which software the next machine needs at all. Downloads by device →
The minimum a professional account asks for
Not a single published number. Pro, Raw Spread and Zero carry a region-set minimum shown on the official Exness website; the two entry types carry none at all. The five compared →
The current rules for how long a practice account lasts
Not fixed in any guide, this one included — they are policy and published on the official Exness website. What practice is good for →
Trading is risky and may not be suitable for everyone.
Answers that are “it was never built”
Asked for by name, and not there to be found
Each line names the thing people go looking for, says plainly that nobody wrote it, and gives what is done instead.
A sync button between two installations
Nothing synchronises an arrangement between copies of a terminal, and no menu hides one. What crosses is copied by hand, once per machine. The manual copy →
An export file holding the whole setup
There is no single package. Chart templates are saved and re-applied through the platform's own template menu, and added files travel folder to folder — a property of the platform, not of the account.
A standalone Exness program for a computer
No such application exists. The desktop options are the MT4 or MT5 terminal; the alternative is the browser platform, which installs nothing at all. Picking between them →
MT4 for a Mac
Of the two desktop terminals, MT4 ships for Windows only. A Mac is served by the browser platform or by MT5, which does have an official macOS package — as do Windows and Linux.
A switch from one account type to another
Types are not converted. The wanted one is opened as a further account inside the same Personal Area and used alongside the first. The five on offer →
A practice account promoted to a real one
No promotion exists. A real account is opened alongside, with identity verification completed before real trading, and the practice one stays put for testing. Keeping the two apart →
A single leverage ceiling to quote
There is no one figure. The available maximum depends on the instrument, the region and the funds in the account, and the live caps sit beside each trading account in the Personal Area. What the setting changes →
A list of devices to manage
No screen anywhere enumerates the machines an account has been used from, so nothing can be revoked from such a list. The lever that reaches every one of them at once is a password change. Why that is the lever →
A password issued for a particular machine
Credentials are never minted per computer. One trading account number, one trading password and one server name are typed identically wherever the account is opened, and adding equipment issues nothing new.
A notice to send the broker about new equipment
No form, no message, nothing to wait for. An installation is a viewer; adding one, removing one or running several alters nothing being held on the broker's side.
A terminal that follows its owner around
Nothing installs itself on arrival at a new desk. Each copy is fetched and set up where it is wanted, which takes minutes and is the entire cost of the arrangement. What to fetch where →
A sign-in box on this website
This site accepts no logins and stores no account data — there is nothing here to sign into. A page asking for Exness credentials anywhere but the official exness.com deserves a look at the address bar first.
More of the same
Settled at creation, and not editable afterwards
A further batch of things people look for a control for. In each case the control was never written, and in each case the answer is the same shape: open another one rather than convert this one.
A field that changes an account's currency
The currency is settled on the short form that creates a trading account, alongside the platform and the type. Wanting a different one produces a further account rather than an edited one.
A control that renames an account into something memorable
An account is identified by its number, and the number is what a terminal, a transfer and a support question all quote. Nicknames belong to whatever list is kept outside the Personal Area.
A single figure adding every balance together
Balances are held per trading account and are not pooled into a headline number. Two accounts hold two amounts, and the account list shows them as two lines.
A button that merges two trading accounts
No merge exists. Money is moved between accounts by an internal transfer inside the Personal Area; the accounts themselves stay separate afterwards, each with its own history.
A per-instrument leverage field on an account
The setting belongs to the trading account as a whole. What varies by instrument is the ceiling available to it, which is published by Exness rather than typed in anywhere.
A trial period on any of the platforms
The terminals do not expire and are not licensed per user. What ends is a practice account, under the broker's dormancy rules, and that is an account question rather than a software one.
An offline copy of the Personal Area
It is a page on the official exness.com, reached by signing in, and there is nothing to install that would keep a copy of it anywhere.
Answers that are a door
Six doors, opened here and walked through elsewhere
One line apiece, because the long version is already written
- Which terminal belongs on a second computer — the one matching the platform the account was opened for. Downloads by device →
- Which type a first account usually is — Standard, priced through the spread alone and with no minimum. The five compared →
- What stays on a computer that is not yours — whatever it was allowed to remember, which is why the sign-out comes first. The clean-up list →
- A phone and a desk on one account — both, and each shows a different amount of the same thing. Pocket beside desk →
- What the calculator here runs on — measured spreads and contract specifications, with the snapshot date on the panel. Open it →
- Who is left to ask — official support for anything tied to an account, this site's team for setup. Both channels → · Who writes this →
Every no on this page rests on one yes
All of the above is bookkeeping around one object that does exist: the account, created on the official exness.com in a few minutes. How an account is opened →
